Apparently Scott Martin tore his ACL during a preseason workout an
d will miss this upcoming season for the Notre Dame basketball team. Scott was projected to be a starter for the Irish so this hurts the team a little. I know a lot of Boiler fans probably were happy to hear this news, but I for one was not. Scott seemed like a good kid at Purdue who had all the potential in the world. I was looking forward to heading to Notre Dame to see him play again. I guess that I will just have to wait another season for that to happen. Martin already has watched the Irish from the bench all of last season after tranferring from Purdue. He will have one more season of that ahead of him. When he is healthy he should be something to watch.
