Yesterday I was on the sidelines for the Purdue football game yet again. Just like my first game there the game did not go according to plan. Purdue despite two weeks to prepare was no match for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. There were not many highlights for Purdue, but a few things happened that made for interesting pictures. One such play is shown above. Purdue running back Akeem Hunt (1) was making a move in the flat when the Nebraska defender tried some weird flip move to get to him. There was no contact on the play, but it really did yield an interesting result for sure. Despite the outcome there were many bright spots on the field yesterday. A lot of the key plays were made by very young players. Maybe I am just the eternal optimist, but I think that it won’t be long until…
