This weekend I will be seeing some good playoff action. Tomorrow night I will be in South Bend for the #1 ranked Notre Dame Hockey team’s opening round of the CCHA playoffs. I will also be at the game on Saturday night. During the day on Saturday I will be in Michigan City to watch high school basketball regional action. LaPorte was knocked out of action early, but I will be there to see East Chicago and Valparaiso. Three of the four big recruits by the Purdue basketball team will be there to play. Should be an interesting weekend. I could have seen them last year, but was sick and did not feel like doing anything. Hopefully things will be different this year.

Lets try this again. Last week I put out a schedule, and the weather came in and made it worthless. The weather looks a little better this week, so I will try again. Here is how this week looks:
Monday: Valparaiso WB v. Chicago State (if I am bored)
Tuesday: My weekly (sometimes) basketball at Lincoln
Wednesday: Notre Dame WB v. Georgetown
Thursday: Purdue WB v. Iowa
Saturday: Notre Dame WB v. Rutgers
Notre Dame MB v. Marquette (if I can get tickets)
Sunday: Purdue WB @ Illinois (bus trip)
Monday:Notre Dame WB @ Depaul (bus trip)

As you can see this week will be fairly busy. Good thing I am not working right now, or I might be tired.
