A Tough Take

Yesterday I shot the Purdue game against Eastern Michigan. Last year at Eastern Michigan it was a rough sailing for the Boilers. It seemed as if the freshman class would not allow a repeat of that today. They really stepped it up, and helped Purdue pull out the win. You can see that the future is bright in West Lafayette. Here Bryson Scott pays the price for a late bucket. His clutch play at the end helped seal the deal.

Last night I made some pictures at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge game here at Purdue. The Boilermakers took on Boston College. The Purdue Athletic department spent the week pumping the game up with promotions, and the fans caught onto the big game atmosphere. This was a fun game to shoot, and the fans were a big reason why. During the halftime break former Boiler and current Orlando Magic guard E’Twaun Moore was honored. It really was a great day to be on campus.

Bonus Photos

As has become the custom here are a few bonus photos from the game last night.

The thing that I love about college football is the emotion involved. An example of that can be seen above. Seniors Kurt Freytag and Kevin Pamphile embrace just before their final game. For everyone there is a final football game. These two played theirs yesterday. You can see two men who have gone through a lot together getting ready to do it one more time. The game result was not quite what everyone wanted, but we did get to see our heroes one last…
