With the 30th Pick of the NFL Draft the Jets Select..

Former Purdue standout Dustin Keller was selected by the New York Jets. The pick was originally the Packers pick, but they got rid of it. How nice would it have been to have seen Dustin Keller as a Packer? It is nice though to see a Boilermaker get drafted in the first round. This truly may be the year of the Boilermaker. Either that or I am just seeing everything this year with optimist’s eyes.
I will have more draft coverage after it is over tomorrow. I will see how both Notre Dame and Purdue did in the draft as well as how the Packers fared.
By the way this was one of the rare times that one defender took down Keller in his Purdue career. He was usually the one dishing out the punishment. I just got lucky with the picture and had to include it. I guess you could say that Dustin was head over heels excited when he heard that he was picked in the first round. Too late for that one?
