The top ten. Here we go. Today’s game took place on June 19th, 2005 between the White Sox and the Dodgers. This game was special because it is another game that I took my dad to. We watched the game together the night before, and A.J. won the game with a home run in the ninth. My dad and I got into a discussion about what is better when you are at a game. Do you want to see your team lead the whole way, or to win it at the end. We both agreed winning at the end is the best. Flash forward to the next day. It was father’s day, and ESPN picked up this game for its Sunday Night Baseball game of the week. It was a rematch of the 1959 World Series. To commerate that occasion the Sox started playing the “Let’s Go, Go-Go White Sox” by Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers. The White Sox were losing 3-2 in the eighth when Aaron Rowand knocked in two runs. Just before the hit the song was played. From then on every time they played that song in the late innings we would pull the game out. We had a blast, and I was glad my dad was able to see the Sox pull the game out.
