Minnesota had an easy time of it in the second game today in the Big Ten Tournament. They did not even need any points from star Kelly Roysland in the second half. She scored nine in the first half, and sat much of the second half. Emily Fox led the Gophers with 12 points and 9 rebounds. A.J. Glashauer of Northwestern led all scorers with 13. This was a very sloppily played game in the first half, and Minnesota stepped it up in the second half. Northwestern won the turnover battle with 20. Minnesota had 23. The Gophers will have to play a much better game tomorrow afternoon when they take on Michigan State.
