Game Preview: Purdue Boilermakers v. #19/#24 Indiana Hoosiers

The game was originally scheduled for tonight, but weather conditions the last couple of days delayed its start until tomorrow This game is always a big game for the two schools, but this year it seems even bigger. Purdue is quietly having a good season, and Indiana is as well. Purdue has as many wins this year as they have gotten the past two years combined. They are on the bubble of making the big dance, and a win against a ranked opponent would help their cause. Indiana has struggled on the road this year in the same way Purdue has, and a road win against a good opponent would help their confidence. Put all of that drama together with the fact that this is the Purdue/Indiana game, and you have the stage set for a great game. Mackey is sold out for tomorrow night, although the weather may keep some away. Purdue and IU have played 189 times before with Purdue winning 106 of those times. Indiana has had the best of Purdue lately though. This game means a lot for this season as well as the impact it would have on the recruiting trail. I cannot wait until tomorrow night, and will be there to see the battle in person.
Go Boilers!!
