Pregame Pictures From the Wrigleyville Classic

Here are the pictures that I took before the game in Chicago yesterday. The atmosphere outside of Wrigley was awesome. I tried to get some pictures from different places around the stadium.

The Northwestern band again with College Gameday in the background

The Billy Williams statue outside the stadium with some of the football signage in the background

My vantage point of the College Gameday set

Wrigley decorated for the big game. It was amazing how much purple was added to the stadium for the game

My first view of the field from the right field opening

Wildcat Way on Sheffield Avenue

A young Wildcat fan stole the show for about 30 minutes dancing with the live band. Here he is dancing with a Cubs mascot.

Dan Persa and Pat Fitzgerald lead the Wildcats through the Northwestern Alumni tent

Some Wildcat fans make a tunnel for the players and of course the mascot

The end zone that was too dangerous

The view from the upper deck behind what is normally home plate

The view from what would normally be the third base side

Pat Fitzgerald and Ron Zook share a handshake prior to the game. They walked around with an official for a while getting all the ground rules straight

Mikel Leshoure getting pumped up prior to the game. He was really fired up during warm ups, and it showed once the game started

The Zooker looking over his troops

Bob Davie and Erin Andrews chat with Zook

The Wildcats take the field

The coin flip at midfield

The Die Hard Wildcat fan who sat behind me. This guy was into the game from the kickoff. I never knew that Northwestern had fans this die hard. He also played a mean vevuzela
